Somewhere in the Woods...

Deep in the forest, miles back there is a small house, standing within a strange forest. You cannot find this house through normal means, it is simple there and only found when you least expect it.

In the Spring of 2022, Somewhere in the Woods was presented in the 3D category for IUPUI's Media Art and Science departments 2022 Spring Capstone event. this project was planned, created, modeled and told by Kendall Riley over the course of 14 weeks, with hundreds of hours of creating and rendering being put into it. The purpose is to showcase the capabilities with 3D modeling, texturing, environment creation and environmental storytelling. There are no characters, nor dialogue within this showcase, so the story is entirely up to the viewer to decide. This is a story that has been in development for many years, but this Capstone was the perfect opportunity to bring the full story to life

Our Plastic Ocean, Our Clean Ocean

In 2021, IUPUI students Kendall Riley, Jacob Bridenthal, Virginia Hootan, Aaron Keilman, Jacob Moffit, and Alex Young created a 3D animation about a sea turtle and a seal living in a polluted part of the ocean. The story shows them going from a large trash island, to a beautiful reef with other sea creatures to try and help clean the ocean.
